Distinguished Public Lectures 2018 / 2019

The School of Mathematics & Physics is delighted to share a new series of Distinguished Public Lectures for the new academic year in 2018.

Following the success of the first Public Lecture series in 2017 / 2018 which covered a variety of subject related topics from space travel to algebra, the new season will also discuss the philosophy of physics after the new additions of joint Philosophy Degree programmes was introduced to the School’s Undergraduate portfolio. All lectures will be held in the University’s Isaac Newton Building lecture theatre and will commence at 6pm.
