Professor Libby John is the Pro Vice Chancellor and Head of the College of Science & Engineering at the University of Lincoln. Libby was invited to deliver a guest lecture as part of the TED x Brayford Pool event on 4th December 2018.
Libby’s research specialises in plant ecology, plant-animal interactions, root-soil interactions, and biodiversity – a fascination has led her to study lichen in the Rocky Mountains and the snowshoe hare in the Yukon.
She is also the President of the Sir Joseph Banks Society and has recently spoken at the Gravity Fields festival about his work, its impact and legacy.
