In August 2019, the School of Geography hosted a climate conference in collaboration with the Diocese of Lincoln.
The two-day event, ‘Moana: Water of Life’ featured a diverse range of speakers from both the School’s academic team, as well as key members of the Diocese and voices from science and theology in the UK, Oceania, and the United States.
Conference outcomes included a case study of the impact of the conference and the launch of the Lincoln Diocesan Environmental Policy. It is hoped that the case study can be used as a resource for the county of Lincolnshire and beyond.
